Is It Friday Yet??

Ok-so I follow a blog that has a section called “Not Me Monday”…I think that’s what it is.  But I’ve decided that I need to do a “Not Me Tuesday”.  Therefore-here it goes.

I did NOT almost burn my house down today!  No-I didn’t even turn on the wrong burner of my electric stove to make tea, and then go out to the mailbox.  Thank GOD my neighbor did NOT come over to talk to me about her dog who had to go to the vet last night.  I did NOT come back in to wax paper flaming on my stove, beginning to smoke.  I DID put the fire out before it was very big or did too much damage. Then I did NOT proceed to almost poop in my pants out of the fear and realization of what just almost happened, and did NOT almost have a heart attack!

Whew!  Glad I got that off my chest…..Yep-that’s me-almost burning down my house, let the puppy run in her own poop and had to bathe her, took a nap (why am I tired? I’m not working??), and there was something else that happened-but that hasn’t been dealt with yet-so I can’t elaborate on that one!  But thankfully-my house, stove and nerves are intact.

Our largest puppy-Piper-went to her new hame last weekend. There were tears and gnashing of teeth-but she did wonderful-and has already found her place there.  Peaches doesn’t seem to miss her like we thought she would-so that’s a relief!  And Penny never really knew she had a 4 legged mom OR sister-she just chases anything with legs (two OR four), and is glad to be alive.  Daddy Presley is being more gentle and playful with her-but still tries to TASTE her gently with his mouth. But he is even getting better about that.  Cute pictures from this week.

Can you get anymore relaxed than this? My mother-in-law rocked her to sleep-CUTENESS!!
